Our Apiary
Blue Ridge Bees & Botanicals is the shop of New River Woods Apiary, our family apiary in the high country of Ashe County, North Carolina.
Our bees forage the native trees of these mountains, from the first red maple of late winter to the sourwood of high summer. This collection is our thank-you to those trees. Each design in the series is a tree our bees work through the seasons.
Our tea towels and note cards are printed to order and shipped to you. Beeswax goods from the apiary are coming soon, and so is our honey.
In the bee yard
Our hives sit in the woods of Ashe County, North Carolina, and we tend each one by hand through the season.
